Random Pictures

Here are some random cell phone pictures from the past couple of days:

My Helper

There are moments during the day that despite the craziness of the day, melt my heart!

Today, Alex was acting crazy.  Felt like every time I picked Jax up to do something with him, Alex was off doing something he shouldn't.  At one point, I was feeding Jax and Alex was in the pantry sneaking Oreo's (maybe he is an emotional eater...ha!)..

But in the midst of all the craziness, Alex melted my heart with this moment:

He wanted to help me feed his "Baby Jax".  He held him in his lap and fed him his bottle.  And the best part was how proud of himself he was!

Especially in these early days, I treasure these moments of sweetness.  These are the moments I hold on to and the moments I look forward to :)

Breastmilk Supply

With Alex, I always produced a ridiculously large amount of breastmilk.  We had more than enough for our son and probably enough to feed a third world country with what was left over.  There is only a certain amount of time you can store breastmilk, so once that time had expired it broke my heart to throw out a bunch of milk.

So far, this is my breastmilk stash:

We totaled it up and I have 491 ounces in my freezer as of today.  Jax nurses and also gets bottle fed, this is just the excess that I am pumping.  I have looked into donating most of this milk and hope that is something I am able to do.  If you know of anyone that needs breastmilk, please send them my way :)

Jaxon's Newborn Pictures

On Saturday, I received my CD of images from Jaxon's newborn photoshoot!  I absolutely love them!  Kim did such an amazing job capturing the sweetness and wonderfulness of our newest blessing.

I had tears in my eyes as I scrolled through the images - it is still incredible to me to know that we have created such beautiful children!  The pictures that Kim got with my Mom and Dad's crosses and wedding rings are some of the most beautiful pictures.  It is bittersweet seeing them.  It makes me sad to know that my boys will never know them, but makes me so happy to have them photographed with something that was so special to them.  I will treasure those pictures always (I have some with Alex and their crosses as a newborn as well).

There are too many great pictures to choose from, so this post will have quite a few pictures.  I hope you all enjoy the pictures just as much as I do :)

Brotherly love:

I love the expression on Alex's face in this one :)

Bobblehead Alex...ha ha:
